Sleeping Beauty is the 33rd annual charitable pantomime production presented by PwC as part of its Community Affairs Programme.
Children, friends and families of Elizabeth Selby Infant schoo got a chance to visit the Peacock theatre on Tuesday 22nd January to watch Sleeping Beauty.
This year’s production of Sleeping Beauty sees Princess Aurora put under a wicked spell by Insomnia, the most evil fairy in all the land. Children cheered, sang, hissed and booed as Prince George and his faithful sidekick, Derek the Dragon, battle evil spirits as they come to the rescue. But the course of true love never runs smooth.
Sleeping Beauty was brought to life by around 200 PwC staff and pantomime alumni, both on stage and behind the scenes. Every year, the audience is amazed that this is an amateur dramatic group. A massive thnank you to PWC for having us there!
